I'm usually a slip joint kind of guy; but I'm looking for some feedback on which folder would serve my purpose. I'm looking for a knife to scrape, gouge, poke, and still cut. Don't want a heavy military type knife just something that I can get dirty and greasy but still take abuse. Not to worried about lock just something light and not to monstorious. I like the mini griptilian and spyderco delica. Now I know nothing about these kind of knives. I don't like using clips bc I get them caught and usually bend them so looking for something no longer than 4 1/4. Steel type doesn't matter. Just basically a great work knife that won't fall apart like the gerbers I've got at Walmart and lowes. Any input will help. Thanks!

Delica's and Griptilians are excellent choices, the Griptilian is a little thicker in the handle, so more noticeable in the pocket, but more ergonomic when used and high pressure grips in hand, the Delica is still quite comfortable though and has a longer handle, more handle room compared to the Mini-grip, both 154cm and VG-10 are good all around steels and will perform very similarly. The lock on the griptilian is stronger. I'd say either would be a great choice.

yes the buck 110 is a very good knife and is made in the USA and has good steel but it is not a one hand opener. before I became disabled I was a commercial electrician and I used a Kershaw leek. but that will not do for you because you are looking for something for heavy duty work. Kershaw make quick openers that would fit that bill. I suggest you give them a good look. If it comes with a pocket clip then just remove the pocket clip and buy a belt sheath for it.
