Need advice on a small custom blade for a leather splitter.

Hi forum,
my first post on here.
I am looking for a custom blade in any good cutting steel.
The approx size will be 75mm by 40mm and will be 3mm thick. It will need to have two slots to accommodate m4 bolts and have slight forward and backwards movement.
I guess I can buy the stock and shape and send to heat treat but just wondering if any members have spare blades close to this size I can buy from them.

I'd make it myself if I was you. It doesn't sound like a difficult project.
You should be able to do it with a hacksaw, files and sandpaper.
If you outsource HT there is no reason to not use quality stainless

You can get steel here, he'll also do HT for you. (in germany) but I am sure you'll be able to find someone simular in the UK
