I am an avid archer and need a decent spotting scope. I would really like it to have an angled eye piece. It will be used mostly for archery, however when I get back to rifle shooting I will be doing alot of bench shooting as well. I don't need a Lieca or Swarovski(SP?) although I wish I could afford them. but I dont want a POS that will work for archery but be useless for rifle shooting. Mostly looking for 500yds and in. I have my eye on the Leupold Sequoia. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Trying to stay under $300.00. Power range is not that important but an angled eyepiece is a major want. And if anyone out there has one they want to get rid of that would be great also.

Thanks Adam

I have an old Tasco 20-60X made in Taiwan that has given me good service for >30 years and a newer Celestron Ultima 80..both straight eye pieces and used for rifle or colony varmint shooting from a bench..work great for those purpose. I seeing some newer compact Leupold and Redfield scopes at my club..might be worth a look.

Angled eyepiece is generally considered better for field position viewing whereas fixed works better for bench or prone.

Lot of high quality/power telescopic rifle sights now that do double duty..I scan for game with binoculars and never a rifle scope but can spot bullet holes at distance with several of my C/F scopes.
