Need advice on chinese sword decent one?

This Miao Dao sword is for sale on local (Russian forum)
worth the money (slightly less than $500; markup here can be 30-50% I think these are cheaper in States and even cheaper in China)
decent? have you seen Chinese swords like this?

It's very hard to tell anything about that sword based on that picture. Is there more description somewhere? (Sorry I don't speak Russian so the link didn't help) Who made it? What is it made of? I will say that the only other Miao Dao that I could find online were ultra cheap junk.

I'm not a Chinese sword enthusist so I may be wrong. The scabbard certainly looks Chinese but the blade and hilt look very Japanese in style
