What folding knives would you recommend?

I'm looking for the following:

- <= $60 street price
- less than 3" blade (preferably under 2.75")
- 440 steel or better
- solid feeling, well made handle

Does Benchmade make anything in with these criteria?

Anything else worth considering?

Thanks in advance,

Christopher

Have you considered:
Kershaw Chive
Kershaw Scallion
Kershaw Vapor
????

I only have the Chive but it is a very nice knife for the money with a 2" blade, and the speed safe is real nice.

I have only heard good things about the other knives I mentioned, the scallion is a little larger than the chive, and the vapor doesn't have speed safe. From what I have read here Kershaw puts a sharper edge on their knives than benchmade.

The Benchmade 555 and 556 are just what you're looking for and meet all of your requirements and then some.
