need advice on friction folder makers

I'm considering buying a bit of a fancy friction folder (to look at and occasionaly to use) but I'm not that well known with this part of the "knife market". I'm looking in the $400 to $600 price range. One of the makers I came across is Peter Martin. Does anyone have any experience with his knives?? Besides that does someone have a suggestion as to which maker(s) to turn to in this case??

William Henry recently came out with a line of friction folders, and they look beautiful in the pictures.

I know of WH's folders but that is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a traditional folder (stag handle and such) but with some nice embellishments.
