Need advice on Torx...

I have a few Spydercos, a benchmade, and a Kershaw, and I am wandering what are the "most standard" size Torx drivers for these pocket knives. I mainly just need the torx driver to move/remove pocket clips, and the occasional adjustment on blade tension. Is there a good torx kit you could recommend that would have useful sizes for me? Or, what 2 or 3 torx sizes are the most common and I could just buy them individually... Any and all advice would be great. Thanks in advance!!!

You can get an entire set for so cheap that there is no point in buying just one or two sizes

I currently have a torx set, but it as all large and medium sizes. My smallest torx bit is still to big to tighten the pocketclip on my Spyderco Delica. So I was wandering what SPECIFIC torx sizes that you guys find the most useful. Thanks.

The set I use is a cheap Ultra Steel set that I got from O'reilly auto parts. It has bits (T5,T6,T7,T8,T9,T10,T15,T20). It was very cheap, like under $5 cheap.

Most sizes you'll need is a no. 3 or a no. 4 torx these sizes are hard to find and usually don't come in sets, but most larger hardwares you'll be able to find them. Prof. Gadget

Save yourself time and money and get the Husky set. It has better-made bits than many sets costing several times as much. Anything else as good is going to cost you 5-8x as much.

I use T6, T8, and T10 as far as small sizes. Fits all the screws on my Benchmades.

T6 T8 T10 and maybe a T9 are all you will encounter. Home depot sells a set that has 4 bits, 8 sizes and stores the extra bits in the handle, is gray and about 6 bucks and works great.

If you have a Sears nearby they have a craftsman set that is about $10 that covers all the small sizes. I just got one the other night, torx screwdriver set. All are below Torx 10 in size, that's what you need mostly. 10 would also be handy for a few pivot pins, but I've not seen anything larger on a knife so far.

Most are 6 and 8 it seems.

For $10 it was a five piece or so screwdriver set, worth getting and the tips are decently hard too so they actually work o.k. vs some of the pot metal sets out there.

Here's the big ugly link

I purchased a set from Home Depot ($18, includes Torx sizes 2 through 9, plus small phillips and flat-head bits) and a T10 to top it off. It's all I have ever needed.

The Home Depots around here have a small screw driver/torx on sale for Christmas for $5.99. I picked one up last year and use it all the time. Cell phone repair, gun sites, and works with all of my knives.

NoooOooOoOooooo damn you bladeforums.....

That wiha site is going to cost me a lot of money :-)

Much better pricing than say Xcelite, didn't know about Wiha somehow.

Around 5 bucks at your local home depot !!

Rip the divider out of the handle with needlenosed pliers and it will take all four bits. :)
