Ok, so i'm looking for a switchblade and a butterfly knife.

The switchblade-How are the Piranha Bodyguards? I'm looking for a durable switchblade that costs around 100 bucks.

The butterfly knife-I'm looking for a balisong. I want a durable, made in the USA one. Looking to spend under 40.

Cant say anything about the switchblades. never handled one. But the only balisongs under 40 bucks are going to be CCC's, a good American made one would be the BM 42; dont know the current price of it. Perhaps someone more up to date will fill this part in.
 
BM42 goes for around $180 nowadays. I recently sold mine for $130 so keep a lookout for used ones in the sales forum.
 
Make sure you check your local laws about automatics and butterflies.
