I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. Thanks in advance guys.

I've suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the driveway although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her cel up just to see what time it was and she went crazy and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my g/f. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was whilst crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch.

Should I take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from the local auto shop and try to repair it myself?

I'm so confused.

If your gut is telling you something's bad, it probably is. Time to make some changes.

Leave bodywork to professionals.

fix the car, ditch the girl.

Regards,
Rob

PS. It does sound like somethings going on, and your gut feeling is usually right...so not to be a heartless bastard and just tell you to ditch her maybe confront her first. If you cant trust her, you cant really expect a serious relationship. Plus FIX THE CAR! rust is evil i tells you! poor car :(

This is the way I see it:

If she's cheating on you, ditch her.

If she's not, there's still something lacking in the trust department. I'm not placing blame. Maybe you're not able to trust her and it's your fault. Maybe she doesn't give you enough reason to trust her, and it's her fault. But something needs working out.

You had me going. Funny stuff. :D

Ummm thanks for the advice fellas (for those of you that offered it with sincerity).

But the whole post was offered in jest just to let you know.

Thank Gawd!:D
I thought for a second there we were facing some sort of twisted schizophrenia that would end up with you taking your GF to Maaco for liberal applications of Bondo in a futile attempt to "patch things up"!!! :D

Doh, I didn't even realize the post was a joke. Serves me right for tying to think coherently at 5 in the morning.

Take care of the rust before it gets out of hand. If you really love your car, you'll do the right thing. What's the other problem that you have?

:) :)

Glad you guys like it, although I do feel bad about the ones who were giving me honest and real advice with my make-believe problem.

:D bok u had me fooled just untill i reached the rust problem! :D Great joke
ps my wife didn't get it right away, she tought that u loved your car more then your GF, i did had to translate the joke in dutch and it sounded weird so she was confused! lolol :D

My advice would have been (and still is) to get the GF to pay for your car's body work and new paint job, then dump her.:D.
