I am new to the board and am amazed at the information contained here. I would like to get a next generation ranger tomahawk but understand they will not be available till spring . I need advice on a knife I have been a loyal Cold Steel fan for many years but am appalled at the things I have learned on the board. I will leave it at that What I need advice on is where could I locate a more traditional styled Bowie of high quality as I wont buy from Cold Steel again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

I'll second the Battle Rat, or if you have the bucks a Battle Mistress. However Andy's hawks have it all over the Ratchet or the Pauls hatchet. Drop down a bit to either the Swamp Rat or Busse sites in the manufactures list and check them out.
