Need Advice

I would like to make my own knives someday in the future. But could somebody give me some advice: What are the major tools/equipment i need to make these things?

You dont have to have any major equipment to start with,a few files and some sandpaper will get you started,maybe a hand drill and a hack saw...Otherwise it will depemd on if you plan on forging or stock removal to what equipment you will need.A grinder of some sort is a basic and a drill press,from there you will figure out what else you need or want.Keep reading the post here on the forums and you will learn allotr about what you need,if you can use the searrch engine to find old posts about the differnt pieces of equipment people use.
