Google search = How to make a lightbox . Must have if you are taking closeup pictures of products.
If you want something quick what I help people with is to setup a blog (wordpress.com is one such site) and use that to display their work. It works the same as you sending an email (steps and way you would insert the images and format the text etc is the same) for new info to be posted on the site.
This is something I threw together to show my mom something for her cooking classes. I figured she could post recipes and also update the page with what she is up to. It is really easy for people to leave comments about one of her products and also to interact with her.

You can play around with the colours etc in the control panel for the blog. Maybe this will be easy for someone who doesn't want to deal with uploading images and formatting code all the time on the website.
Just something else to ponder.
edit: looking at your website you need to use different colours. Too much of the brown.
Use this to come up with some colour scheme ideas -

Those bright lights behind the SINCE 2004 tend to wash out the text. You definitely need a lightbox for your pictures. The menu on the left is very standard and not the greatest. Most people tend to make images in photoshop and use those images instead of plain text for those links. Thats how people get around the text limitations graphically. If you would like someone to throw something together I can always send you some images. You just need to figure out the colours for your website first and let me know.
Never underestimate black background with white text and orange or maroon or even green for the highlights. If you want to stick with a brown theme then I would say go for a dark chocolate brown on the outside and a slightly offwhite colour for the middle. The contrast would be classy.
What is with the search bar up top and the powered by MS small business on the bottom? Are you using that stuff to upload or create the website? Do you have any say on the placement. Search bar up top needs to go basically. Throws of the whole page balance and pulls your eye to it instead of to your work in the middle.
