Does anyone know of a good sharpening system for recurve blades that can be used in the field?

if you NEED to have a system get a sharpmaker but it might be a little heavy to hike/camp with. if I were you I would just get a diamond rod the lanskys works well.

The lansky diamond pen sharpener would work but this seems better.
