With the tweeners out I want to get one. Problem is I have a bk16 and bk15 FPR users. So do I opt for the bk17 first or a bk16 in the ffg? I know ill end up with both OF COURSE, probably very soon, but which first?

Go for the bk17...its something new to you. Especially since you know ur gonna end up with a 16ffg sooner than later :D

I'm pacing myself. I had a 15, 16, and machax in my tomar's shopping cart an hour ago, but decided that the 17 which is on the way is enough Beckers for this week. I realized I get much more enjoyment out of a single blade arriving at a time than if a bunch show up all at once. When I get two or three at a time, they all get neglected a bit. But if I get one at a time, each knife gets a thorough testing and workout before I move to the next.

I figure that if I buy one knife every paycheck, I can have a new and different Becker every other week until June 22nd. The 17 first, then the FFG 16, the 15, the production Machax, a BK-7, then a 3. That should complete my collection of current production Beckers. Then will come the long wait for the Ka-bar Brute and the Patrol Machete.

I'd go with the 17 I think. Even thought I only ordered the 15 and 16 (which will be here monday I believe) :D. I'm glad I was able to hold off using the FPR so I could pass it on and get what I REALLY wanted.

I would be leaning toward the 17 as well. Choiled, fisked and cliched. In that order of course...

You need the 17 to round out the triplets. Then you can post pics of a sister on sister on sister knife orgy.
That is what I do with my 3 tweeners. That is when the wife lets me touch her 15. I will be saving the 17 as a gift for my son when he gets older.

I think I'm leaning toward the 17. The ffg looks nice but I LOVE my saber 16. Convexed it and it still has all that extra steel behind the edge. I don't like how the esee 3 and 4 feel so thin, although I'm sure its awesome, but daddy likes meat on those thighs.

If I could get a non ffg 16 I would have, I also prefer a little cushion for the pushin'. I just couldn't stand how the FPR knives looked, and I kinda wanted to keep this one black. I'm sure I'll still like the FFG 16 I ordered, but the 17 is calling to me still. I like pretending I'm a cowboy when I have a clippoint.

Come on, you know you and I both will end up buying and selling a dozen of these suckers ;)....Oh,and I was just told a secret that Micarta and G10 will be here early next week, but shhhhhh :D

My reasoning for the 16, is so you could do a review of the FFG 16, and the sabre 16. More of a curiosity thing than anything.
