Will 204 able to sharpen it? I noticed the edge is ground rather steep, will i have trouble with that? Will diamond sleeves for 204 able solve it? Thanks in advance.

Eric.

Eric - yes, the 204 will handle it, this is what I use on my Commander. Set it up as you would when you are sharpening serrations (edge contacting the corners of the hones) and go at it from there. Then hold the blade almost parallel to the hone and wipe the burr off of the other side. Good luck and hope this helps.

I ran into similar problems when I used my Edge-Pro. I got the best results when I left the burr develop on the right or 'flat' side, even after I polished with the tapes. Then I dropped the arbor down until it was flat, and lightly polished off the burr, then a quick strop. One problem; there appears to be a concave area right in front of the serrations. Even after a few sharpenings, this area still did not fully engage the water stones. I sold the knife, but for ATS-34, it was hard, maybe over hard, and really a problem to sharpen.--OKG

Thanks Dexter and OKG....I think i'll use the diamond sleeves for 204 to start off with.
