Need advise!

seems like a scam of some sort to me but its really hard to say because the guy has good feedback. I dont see why he would take such a low offer though if he asked so much. Just mpo though. I probably wouldnt bother but thats just me
 
The knife is probably legit but it will doubtful that the seller accepts the offer but if he does you come out great. Garland
 
Are you telling me he accepted your offer of $119? I think you put in the offer and he hasnt accepted it yet.
The seller posts alot here on the forum. I think $2100 is a bit much to be asking for that knife but who knows, someone might bite.
 
This was his response through ebay:

I need your agreement on this so I can contact eBay to confirm you that you're the winner, otherwise I'll relist the item. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I need an answer asap. You will have the oportunity to purchase the item at your last given price wich is Declined .
 
It's a fraud. Someone is trying to rip you off and I'm sure it is not the seller. Do not send any money for this sale. This is a con plain and simple, don't fall for it.

Edited to add: the seller is not involved in this proposed transaction, I'm sure you are being contacted by thieves.
 
If the offer had been accepted the item would show closed and listed you as the winner. As the last gentleman stated it is a fruad. You will receive a message within 48 hours on the status of your offer. If it is accepted the auction will end. Garland

Good scam, tho. Got your info and allegedly knew your offer amount. Wow! And if you took the bait, you'd be pissed at Aaron - who had nothign to do with it.

In case this isn't clear: IT IS A SCAM!!!

This is why more people are doing private auctions these days.

Thieves can see who the high bidder is, and they email that same form email about their being a mistake . . .

Don't respond to the email, and DEFINITELY do not send them any money/information!!!
