Can anyone assist in where a good place to buy an edgepro would be. There are some good offers on the internet but I thought I'd throw the question up here first. Sound off Hogs, C4man can't sharpen :grumpy: Thanks ahead of time for your input

I got my Apex and extra stones direct from EdgePro, http://www.edgeproinc.com/. I just finished up a user Ratweiler reprofile last night after working on it for a couple of hours per day for 3 days.(Went until my hands were cramping up from holding it flat.) Sure is sharp now though.:thumbup: I find the belly and the tips are a PITA on bigger knives though with the EdgePro. But... YMMV.

I agree that the tips are hard to do on an Edge-Pro. I too bought mine from Bronks Knife Works. They have very fast shipping.

I got mine from 1sharpknife.com. At the time I bought it, it was about $10-15 cheaper than any other place I could find and it came with an extra 120 grit stone. They mailed it out within a couple of hours of my order and I had it a couple of days later. Either the owner or an employee actually posted on the thread where I was bragging about my order, and said "I just dropped it off at the post office"!!!! They offer a couple of different packages now. Definitely worth checking.

I'm thinking that's cheaper than what I paid.(jimmyjones) My only half complaint about the Apex is if a knife sharpener costs that much it should come with a manual for it, not the the more expensive one. I'm not sure if the colored degree marks are the same on the more expensive model?

Thanks alot guys, heading to get one ordered. Mucho appreciato! Done, #3 on it's way!!!

I have an edgepro apexi (3) as i recall... used it for 4 blades...
I am too hooked on convexing to continue with it... and plan to ebay it eventually...
