Great knife:) I gave mine to my buddy before a big camping trip. For the next year or so it was his bed-side door answerer since his neighborhood is not the best. Really fun design:)

if i remember rightly mine was as sharp as a razor too
looking forward to getting mine back for sure

Aha, I have one with an Elk antler handle that is in partial velvet. Beauty indeed.

That looks like satisal to me. These are great knives and done well. Most were 18 to 18.5" and 26 oz. that I saw. I ended up with an elk antler one by Sher and a great neem by Vim.

Usually scabbards are not always interchangeable, but these were consistent enough that they will probably swap. Don't know where you'd get one though, and it would probably be best to get a good sheath made for it.

I like the stand you have there.

Best,

Norm

guys hi
yes this one was made by old sher i belive its a touch bigger than the norm at 19 inches
but thats the beauty of hand made knives no two are alike oh the stand is for the hadafang
sword from lord of the rings ive had to use that to display the piece im sure hadafang wont
mind loaning it for a while lols oh i belive it was old sher the sign is either a rising sun? or a kami,s
take on a hedge hog or porqupine if you clic the pic a couple of times to make it bigger you,ll see what i mean
which reminds me aint there some kami marks pics someplace
mick
ok guys ive found the marks and its (the old sher,s ) mark for sure the rising sun
