Need an ID on this blade

Hey Folks, just need help with an ID on this knife. Got it from a British soldier when I was in Iraq from a trade. Any info you might be able to give on the make model or style would be appreciated. The only thing it says is "Stainless" right at the base of the blade.

Cold Steel makes something very close to this called The Spike. The shape of the grip is a little different, the CS versions have some jimping on the spine just forward of the cord wrap, and a satin finish. Yours looks like somebody's interpretation of the Spike.

I think I like this better than the original.
