Have a PE II and a couple of PowerLocks. What I'm looking for is a folding knife, lightweight, SAT of course, Sheath carried (no more clips, wearing out too many pants pockets.) Blade style-I really like the half smooth, half serrated. What suggestions do you folks have.

AM, I have a couple of these below, the clip comes off with torx in about 3 seconds, it it light as a feather and the zytel handles are very tough and durable. They are very quick (SAT) and the AUS-8 steel is the best I have ever used, sharp as a razor out of the box. I have had mine for two years or so and never had any problems at all, I love mine. Even has a lock, and would make a perfect sheath carry knife, hope this helps.

Hope he has one in stock. Love the SAT feature. The PE was the first knife I've owned with this feature and it has me hooked.

AM, I may have misunderstood your request, you said SAT (SOG assisted technology). The PE does not have this feature (unless you have a special PE), it is an arc lock, if the arc lock is what you are referring to, then you may not want the Flash II, It is assisted opening by way of spring load, not arc lock.

You might want to check the mini X-ray, I have the mini, carried it as EDC for almost 2 years.

The mini X-ray is one of my favorites as EDC, I carry it in a sideways sheath, it also has a removable clip. When you go look at knives, check them all out and see which you prefer. Here is a pic of the mini X-ray.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I'd like to see more Arc locks as well! :D

But in the mean time (while I wait for my Tigerstripe Trident Folder) I will have to play with my Tigerstripe Flash II... :D
