Need Another Miracle

Our five year old foster son has been with us for two years now. He has been in the system all his life. My wife is an expert at putting the lives of these little ones back together. It would be hard to find a happier more well adjusted little boy. He is Alaska Native and it is extremely hard for any one who is not Native to adopt a tribal member. We have been through it with three of our five adopted daughters. Each one was a miracle.
Alaska has over two hundred remote villages each one has tribal status.
There are no tribal members who want him and there will soon be a hearing to determine his future. I would appreciate your prayers.

"(I) Need Another Miracle..."

You say it as if hesitant... as if you think that maybe you've exhausted your quota or something.

No.

Know this: God has an infinite supply of miracles and another one is certainly available for you... and another one after that too. There is always another miracle ready and waiting to go.

God compares Himself to a father receiving a request from his child. He says, "What father, if his son should ask for a loaf of bread, would give him a scorpion?" How about you? I don't think so since I have seen how you have, over the years, written here about your children and your love for them.

So, don't hesitate to ask. Don't be ashamed to ask. Don't be afraid to ask for yet another miracle. Ask quickly. Ask boldly. Ask as a son asks his father for a loaf of bread.

And as for me? I will be praying for your family and wisdom for the court in this matter.

Smoke and prayers from MI. It is a wonderful thing you and your wife are doing. All the best.

Prayers sent from San Diego for a good outcome.

Thank you. You sound like a great person. Smoke and good thoughts sent to you and yours.

You have my prayers to bring this kid to a good loving family.:) You're good people to take on so many children. God bless you and yours. I pray this kid can come live with you all so that he can know he IS wanted and loved:)

My wife is a foster care licensor where we live. We will definitely be praying for you. She is well aware how difficult things can get when dealing with the tribes.

God bless you and your family, sir!
