Sorry it has been a long time since I posted anything, but I need some help and I know I came to the right place. For some reason, one of the screws in my Masters of Defense CQD Dieter knife is missing some how. Is there a place I can get a replacement screw for this before I deploy again? Thanks in advance.

Check with Blackhawk...the screws should be the same...it isn't by chance one of the center screws for the clip is it? Blackhawk was/is local to you...they should be able to hook you up. If not, pm/email me and I'll take some from my CQD and send them to you. The screws are standard 2-56 thread pitch...Birchwood Casey cold blue should also blue them enough to get you by if you're really in a bind.

Thank you for the reply. I have some time as of now, but can get word tomorrow I need to go in the next 5-10 days. I will check with Blackhawk, I should be able to get whta I need from them. I appreciate the offer though. Thank you again for the reply and assist with where to go for help.

I too recently experienced the same issue, I spoke with Blackhawk CS and they were great, but I have to send the knife in, they won't simply drop a screw or two in the mail for you. 1SHOTKILL, if those are standard screws do you know of a source that I can get identical screws from without having to go to Blackhawk? I'm talking the small frame screws, that would be great if I run into this problem again. I'm also not experienced in how to find the correct size screw, what exactly is 2-56?

Its a #2 screw (the size) and 56 threads per inch (the pitch) If you can send me an email myfastang_ii@yahoo.com with a picture of the one you need I'll see what I have...I have some in s/s I believe if not then maybe black oxide. Let me know and I'll check on my end...
