Dear friends it is critical to call Georgia Governor Nathan Deal ASAP and politely request that he sign SB432 as soon as possible. The bill has been on his desk for a few weeks now and he should sign it. If he doesn't sign it will still become law, however a prompt signature would be better. (He could veto it but we have no reason to think he will.) It is important that he sign SB432 soon.

Please call 404-656-1776 during business hours 9am - 5pm EST and politely tell the secretary to ask Governor Deal to please sign SB432 asap.

As you will remember SB432 creates knife preemption in Georgia home of the BLADE SHOW which would prevent local cities and towns from passing any new knife ordinances and repeals any old knife ordinances now on the books. This law will help to assure that BLADE Show attendees will not have worry about Atlanta's restrictive knife laws when we attend BLADE.

Please post responses you get from the governor's office here so we know what they are saying.

Thank you for your help with this.
