i'm trying out a new enamel paint on my heads - and i usually paint my multicam hawks with a matching pattern - but this new flat earth brown paint is beautiful to me.

this picture doesn't do the colors justice cuz my digi-camera just went kookoo - the OD Cordura they are all laying on is for some hawks i am doing for an Alaskan Hunting Guide buddy.

question - what do you fellow-babies think? - should i leave the multicams the way they are? (flat brown heads) or should i go ahead and put the multicam pattern on the head, like in my signature below - both look outstanding to me, but there is something good about the brown.

also - should i make Olive Drab hawks with brown heads do you think? - those seem like they would have a nice old-times feel to them, while made with space-aged composites ...they might be cool.

....or just keep them all black...?

thanks for any advice.

The brown looks cool to me. I'm not much of a fan of camo. but, I think black looks better with camo.

Now, the brown heads and shafts look COOL, to me.

For what its worth:
Olive Drab with brown
Multicam with black or multicam
Black with black
Nice lookin work vector001

Vec...how about a tiger striped handle...seriously.

i love the looks of tiger stripe. - good idea wise-brother Q.

what color shade...? - standard, desert, or urban...?

thanks for the help, brethren...!

there seems to be a solid 50/50 split in what folks like.

i am going to try a Coyote and an OD hawk with the brown.

we can always refinish any hawk.

thanks again, fellow-babies!
