Two folders I would like you Gentlemen to comment on. They are:

Kershaw Blur in S30V...

Spyderco Delica in ZDP-189...

Thanks in advance for your help and comments...

Depends on your needs, they are quite different knives in almost every way. I have owned/used both, though not in the respective steels listed. I have had good experiences with Kershaw's s30v, takes and holds a really nice edge. The Blur is a med/large tactical recurve style knife, the one I owned functioned flawlessly; the AO was very strong. Not very sheeple friendly if that is a concern. The Delica is quite a slicer, have one in vg-10 and it is nothing short of a folding scalpel. Flat ground, smaller and much lighter than the Blur, very easy to carry. For average everyday cutting chore it would do nicely. You might also consider the Native, great all-round edc.

Thanks, tenman, for the great comments. I have plenty of EDC folders and fixed knives, but I'm just getting the hankering/urge to buy a few more blades (most of you can relate to that thought process, I would think). I really am curious to the properties of the two steels in these knives having never owned a knife in either S30V or ZDP-189. I've heard/read so much about them I thought I might give them a good 'better-than-factory' profile and a nice acute edge and see how they do over the short and long...

Any other comments would also be appreciated, along with experiences from owners of the said designs or those with thoughts on the S30V and ZDP-189 steels...

Thanks in advance for your input, Gentlemen...
