Need good FM Reception, CCRadio?

Hi guys, I need suggestions for an FM radio that will pull in those distant stations from inside my house. I have tried several lower end radios inside my house and can always just barely pull in some of the most local stations. I'm looking at the CCRadio as I understand that it does very well with FM even though it is supposed to have extremely excellent AM reception. I would love to have the great AM, TV and weather band reception but the radio will be primarily for my wife who will listen to mostly FM stations. So if there is another radio in the CCRadios price range that is a little better with FM please let me know. Thanks for any help, Heath

Is this a standalone unit or part of a component stereo system?

Bob Carver used to have a component tuner that would play some interesting tricks with the FM signal to clean up poor station reception. I don't know if that technology or its descendants are in use anywhere anymore.

Radio Shack sells a signal amplifier that can help out in this regard, again for component style devices or boom boxes with antenna inputs.

Heathen--a good antenna might do more to improve your signal than a new radio. If you emailed or called CCrane, I'm sure they'd be glad to help.

I have a CCRadio Plus. FM reception is as good or better than any radios I've ever had. AM is outstanding. The best radio I've ever seen. That being said, a good FM antennae is probably what you really need. If you can, hook it up to your TV cable. C. Crane also sells FM antennaes.
