Need guidance

One of my brothers-in-law was visiting this Thanksgivingholiday and mentioned he had a genuine antique Samurai Wakizashi, fullymounted, unsigned, from Bungo Province, circa 1580, with High Green Papers fromthe Tokyo Sword Museum that he is interested in selling.
Can anyone provide some guidance as to how he can find qualified buyers for this sword? He hasn’t yet emailed me any photos of it andI’ll post them, as received. Thanks

This site - http://www.nihontomessageboard.com/ - deals specifically with Japanese swords and has a well perused classifieds section.
He can either advertise there or he can use the commercial links section on the main page and sell his sword via consignment through many of the listed vendors.

Here - http://yakiba.com/ - is one of my prefered vendors who is happy to consign items for sale.
