Need help! Busse Customer Service?

I went on Busse's Website on Friday 14 Dec and placed an order for a ASH-1, I did not receive a e-mail stating my order was received, so then I sent an e-mail to Customer service and still no reply, now this is the 3rd knife I have ordered from Busse and yes I know they are slow about getting you the knives because they are busy but is this a web problem or are they just so busy that I can't get quick e-mail saying yes we received your order.

Take it easy; email is not guaranteed an immediate response from any company. A good rule of thumb is 24 hours; and since Saturday and Sunday are not a business day you should get a response on Monday.

The Email function of the Busse site ordering system has not been functioning correctly. When they reply to you you should know if your order was placed.

Busse has top notch customer service.
 
Yes, sit back and relax.

Busse wants to sell you a knife as much as you want to buy one. If you don't hear "something" within the next week or two, then call and see what's up. Busse is not just about the best knife in the business; it's also about the best customer service.

i have never had a confirmation email from them, i think that part of the system doesn't work so good, but i would not worry as they have always contacted me when 2 weeks is up.
I'm sure that if there was a problem and they didn't have you on the system they would rectify it straight away. Fridays are Fridays aswell so I'm sure you will get a response early in the week to your email.

I don't think it is asking to much for a reply when you order a knife at 0600 Mountain time which is 0800 eastern time, so you have all day, just want to know if the order was received, Yes I know it will take them a long time to get me the knife because they are busy but I order knives from some places and you at least get an e-mail within a few moments saying we received your order.

Reread my initial response. Expect a reply for ANY business correspondence within 24 hours; on the next business day. Someone will get back to you.

If you confirm with your credit card company; YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CHARGED. YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL THE KNIFE IS READY TO SHIP. Have a drink and relax. :thumbup:
 
I will give them a few more days, problem is if there were a problem and I did not communicate with them, then the 3-4 months to get my knife just went into 5-6 months.

Someone didn't get back to you on Friday. No one works Saturday or Sunday. This isn't going to push your order back 2-3 months. Ordering your blade on the last day they are taking orders MIGHT push your order back; but they seem to run them in batches (based upon coatings and handle materials).

Anyways, what's the rush? Your credit card hasn't been charged, you aren't getting the blade any time soon...and there is no guarantee the color combination you ordered will be among the first batch to be shipped. That being said, you also don't know that maybe your knife WILL be among the first batch to be shipped.

Also, with SPAM filters and email in general, some folks attempt to resend their emails a couple of times (and wait for a reply between sends).

They would not make you wait longer if you could show you ordered it. I always have a saved copy of the receipt in case this happens.

Hi Rick,

As others have mentioned, I wouldn't be too worried about not receiving a confirmation. If after a couple days, you don't receive anything, then give Amy a call at the shop and she'll make sure that everything's in order. Pun intended.

I've never gotten a confirmation email from Busse but then I have not yet ordered from the website. Nevertheless their customer service has always been better than excellent. I would say do not worry cause they will take good care o yu
 
I ordered 3 ASH1's at lauch and never got a follow up email from Busse confirming my order. I did call up a day later to change my CG from std G10 to mags - so I know they GOT the order - just no official confirmation.
 
As I stated in my first post on this thread, this is my 3rd Busse knife that I have ordered, I have owned two other Busse knives in the past, I will not go into detail here because I beleive in forgive and forget and giving a 3rd chance, in other words my experiance with them may not be the same as yours. I am not being the bad guy here, again because of certain issues in the past is why I ask about the timeline. I do think the overall look of their knives have improved a great deal(hence the reason I have placed an order for the ASH-1). I want to be a Busse fan, and buy alot of Busse products but again without going into full blown detail, my past dealings have not be all that great, but I hope all woks out because I really like the look of the ASH-1.
 
When I order from their website I get an error message telling me that they cannot send an e-mail. However, I always get what I ordered. I think someone else mentioned that this part of the order process does not function at 100%. I would just sit tight and wait for them to call Monday.

Remember that they may be a little slow getting to you then B/C of the Ganza this weekend.
 
busse does not use an auto response email system.

every email is read and responded to by an actual person, usually amy.
 
I thinking the same thing, Amy was probably out, I will give her a few more days to respond, again, not worried about getting the knife, I know about setting back and taking a drink and to be very patient about gettin your knife, I got it! Just wanted to know if they got the order. I will call Amy late next week if she doesn't contact me first.

Thanks for the info, and by the way, I have issues too!
