Alright so I need a knife for work. I work in the tire business and need a knife that can cut through boxes and plastic strap things. I also hang around with my car buddies and we use our knifes to cut like hard plastic and all that stuff.

Price range : under 60$ please

I currently got a shitty knife thats a Falcon china knockoff. 440 Stainless
1.5-3.5in Blade
Do you have any handle/ lock/ blade preferences?: Dont care about Lock, Handle not really and blade just has to be sharp :)
Assisted/ not?: I'd prefer assisted but I don't care.

In that price range, I recommend cold steel, anything with the triad lock. American lawman, recon 1, Or the voyager series are lighter, less expensive and strong.

How long do you want the blade to be?

Please don't be so vague :D

^Can't go wrong with a cold steel. Their stuff is tough as nails if you're going to be using it pretty hard.

What size are you looking for? Spyderco also makes some great folders: delica, Tenacious, centofante, resilliance, manix 2...

Cheers!

spyderco persistence/tenacious amazing knives for around 35-45 or the Kershaw blur its around the 60-70 range but its soooo comfortable and the assisted opening is smooth and fast and really good steel

The CS Recon1 is a tough SOB and a lot of knife for the money. It is also light weight and carries smaller than it's size would lead to believe.
When I take out a knife I know I'm not going to treat nice.. my Recon goes with me.

Yup. Even the mini AK-47 is tough as nails.

For really hard use anything with a Triad lock, for more normal use an Endura (FFG).
