Hey guys, I searched and found one forum that addressed this, but it did not really help me. My blade is not rubbing on the side, but it is much closer on the non lock side. Can anyone help me out with some instructions on how to fix this?

Thanks guys!

My large cyclone is also not centered, but it's not rubbing. For me it will cost what i paid for it to send it back...

Try loosening the pivot, then tightening it back up to find the sweet spot. before you do that, check for side to side blade play. Also, if you loosen the screws on the frame of the knife and shift the scales one way or another after loosening the pivot, you can also change which way the blade goes. Imagine holding the knife between both hands in your palm and sliding your hands opposite each other, that's what youre trying to do. but if there's bladeplay, just adjust the pivot til there isnt any. No need to send it back...

With knife open, loosen the pivot a little, and put pressure on the blade pushing it TOWARDS the liner it is the closest to when it is closed, non-locking side in your case. Close knife and see where the blade is, if where you want it, tighten pivot, if not go through the steps again, maybe loosening the frame screws slightly.

Body screws, loosen them.

Pivot screw, loosen to where slightly wobbly.

Find desk with drawers, hold handle with blade open, MODEL NUMBER FACING UP. Wedge blade in-between drawer and apply moderate pressure DOWN.

This is for moving the blade to the center if your blade is rubbing on the non-locking side.

Reverse instructions for locking side.

Tighten screws to where it once was. You may need to play with the tightness of the body screws. All of my blades are perfectly centered after this.
