Need help choosing a knife around 110$

Okay so i got a 110$ in amazon gift cards and id like to get a new folder.
Any suggestions?
I just want to EDC it and do some food prep occasionally.
The only thing is please dont suggest benchmades i have a personal problem with them and just refuse to purchase anymore.

Id like my knife to not be over 4-6 oz because it gets heavy in gym shorts witch is what i wear most of the time at home.
I will also use my knife at work but it will rarely see use there im mostly just looking for a good reliable medium use EDC.

P.S id also like to be able to sharpen the knife and not have it take hours so keep that in mind please. Also taking it apart is not 100% necessary but i do like the option to adjust things if needed.

i was actually looking at a satin blade camo handled para 2 for 105, is that a good price and between the sage and para 2 what 1 would you suggest more?

Welcome to the forums. I suggest a Spyderco Paramilitary 2. I am fairly certain you could grab one for close to that.

Sage is going to be easier to pocket in gym shorts. I sold my Para2 and kept my Sage 2.

yea i see 1 for 105 but im not sure if i should get a para 2 or not or get something like a kershaw JYD2 or something, spydercos designs just seem kinda generic and over used to me, they all look the same to me.

Im not a huge knife guy so that probably makes me sound stupid but hey im entitled to an opinion.

sage 1 with carbon fiber or sage 3 in blue g10? both about the same price.

and between the sage and the para 2 what is better for functionality?

Cold steel Vaquero or rajah 3?

Both have deep bellies so can slice well for food prep and have Aus 8a so easy to sharpen

Not really a cold steel fan, their warranty seems kinda sub-par.

These are my 90% EDC rotation. Both are great.
How big do you want? Which style suits you best?
I primarily EDC the Para2, but I have XL-XXL hands, love the M390 (sprint run) blade, and like playing with the compression lock.
If all I need is a knife, the Sage1 serves very well. And I dig the CF scales.
The only folder I've ever taken apart is the Para2. Supposedly it voids the warranty, but it was a cinch to put back together.
