Hey guys I am attempting to help a friend get a new grinder up and going. He needs a three phase TEFC 2hp motor 3600rpm with a 56c frame along with a vfd to match. I have bookmarked a few of the websites you guys have mentioned in the past and am going to post below what I am considering telling him to order. What I would like to know is whether you guys see a problem with my choices or know of a better outfit that you have used?

My motor choice at this time is a leeson with link below. I am considering #113927 for $307.00

and for a controller I am considering the Nema 4 Teco from tools4 cheap for $427.00 link below

You guys are pretty darn saavy so I was hoping someone could help me out if I am about to have a friend spend more than he has too.
THanks.

Thanks for the links, I just shot Wayne Coe a email. If I can get both items ordered through him then thats the way I will probably go. I like that the money will stay in the knifemaker community.

Just wanted everyone to know how happy I was I went with Wayne Coe on the 3 phase motor and vfd. He even included easy to read instructions to change the settings on the VFD so I would not have to read the whole manual. I am going to post his link below in case anyone else in the future is considering getting a motor/vfd you owe it to yourself to check out his prices. I will be doing more business with him in the future.

Here is the link to his new PDF Price list.

I have searched Motors and VFD's high and low.
He is selling a good product at the best prices I have found.
I bought some used motors on Ebay, but with shipping from US to Canada (and that Damn UPS brokerage fee) it works out almost the same to buy new direct from him.
