Need help choosing next CRK!

Currently I own a Large 21 plain and I am looking for which CRK I should get next. I am looking at the Umnumzaan, Large Micarta Insingo, or a Nyala. I can't decide and I need some suggestions.
Thanks,
Matt

Large Micarta Insingo would be my vote from the three you mention....I'm very fond of Insingo blade style.

Thanks for the suggestions so far! The one thing I hate about the Wilson Combat Zaan is the lock bar stabilizer. Are all the Umnumzaans going to have this feature?

My vote goes to the Umnumzaan... everyone that knows me knows how much I love my Zaan... Its just a great knife!!

It depends. If you plan to gut fish or submerge it in liquids, I would say stay away from the wood inlays. I have a titanium small sebenza I use for all purpose and a snakewood mnandi for other less messy uses to avoid damaging the wood. Micarta inlay would work best for any use.

After my Large Regular Sebbie, the Umnumzaan was next and as of today, I finally added the Nyala to my clan. :D

Well I think I am going to buy a zaan next! Are the new ones all coming with the lock bar stabilizer?
Thanks,
Matt

I think any choice is going to be a good one at the end of the day, but why not try the Nyala ? People always seem to over look the fixed blades or at least get them late in the game, so to speak. IMO the Nyala is a great knife for the price and well worth having. :)

I think Chris said that ultimately ALL Umnumzaans will have the lock bar stabilizer, but for now - they have to use up the remaining handle stock before integrating it into the production models.

I think you can probably still find a new Umnumzaan from e-retailers without the stabilizer, but I bet by years end / beginning of 2012 they will have used all existing inventory and all will have it.

The Wilson Combat model Startac Umnum will have it integrated moving forward - they even changed their photos of the knife on their website.

BTW - I also suggest the Umnumzaan as your next CRK.

I think I'm going to place an order for a Large Micarta Insingo today but my next CRK will probably a Nyala or a Pacific. I need to hold a zaan again to decide if I should get it or not because I was going to at BLADE but I liked the ergos of the LG 21 so much more.

I think you'll love that Insingo micarta. I recently got a large carbon fiber 21 and large Insingo. I like them both, but the cf one is numbered and I'm probably going to sell it and replace it with an unnumbered one.

I'm also having trouble picking my next CRK. Stuck between the newer Mnandi, Umnumzaan, Ti-lock, and large 21 wood inlay. I'm afraid I'm going to end up with at least two at the same time.
