:) Hi

I may have mixed up 110's with another person. So I need help ID'ing the year of a Buck 110.

The only markings are on the side of the blade w/ the fingernail groove.

it says

BUCK
110 (and a downward facing arrow w/ stem)
USA

There are NO dots on either side of 110. Just the downward facing arrow. Note, it is not a Vee. It has a verticle stem or shaft making it look like an arrow. It is a wide V with a verticle stem in the middle.

Similar to this: 110V But w/ the stem. My pc doesn't make arrows.

And I have a couple of questions.

Have the blades always been hollow ground?

Can polishing the blade during a cleaning remove an engraved name?

Thanks

Arrow year stamp is 2007 I believe.
Blades have not always had a full hollow grind.
It depends on how deep the engraving is. Polishing wont remove it but buffing may... Good luck.
