Need help dating True Temper double bit axe head

60’s... 70’s...? Someone will know when they started putting ribs in the eyes.
I believe eye ridges appeared around 1960, and true temper ceased production in the early 1980s. That’s as much as I can narrow it down.So I just saw this axe head on ebay and was wondering if someone could help me date it.

That's about my feeling too regarding age. You can see the hamon line (temper) and its in good shape. It's a great western pattern axe! You should pick it up if you can get it for a reasonable amount.So I just saw this axe head on ebay and was wondering if someone could help me date it.

What would you consider reasonable?
The thing is.. I am from Germany so finding such an axe over here is basically impossible:/

Unfortunately by the time you add shipping NOTHING will end up reasonable as you already know. I can't exactly recall the rules but I think we are prohibited from discussing monetary values with non-paying members. I'm sorry I'd like to throw a number out there to help you out.
