Hey all, I'm thinking of getting a Flash II with the TiNi blade and the aluminum handle. What I can't decide on is whether to get the drop-point blade or the tanto blade. What are your preferences and what would you suggest? Keeping in mind this will be my primary knife for everyday use. Thanks for your help

Oh yeah, was also considering Benchmade automatics and Kershaw Onions. Any feedback regarding these two would be very helpful. Thanks again!

Hey redza,

With respect to Tanto versus drop point, it depends upon what you like. I don't particularly like the Tanto blade shape, so you can figure out where this is going ...

I like both the SOG and the Ken Onions. The SOG Flash is a more elegant design and I like it better overall as a EDC. The Ken Onions are more utility knives.

Hope this helps,

Neal

I like all the Flash IIs, so I can't pick :p , unless you said I could just have one, it would be the Flash II aluminum handle with TINI, Tanto blade.

Robbie Roberson. ;)

Well, I took the plunge tonight! I've decided on the SOG Flash II with aluminum handle, TiNi coated and drop point blade. All I have to do now is to wait for it to arrive and I can't wait! Thanks for your suggestions!

Congrats on the new Purchase! :) The Flash II in any form is a great knife. Please keep us updated on it's use.
