i am looking for a knife for everyday use that is durable and i have narrowed it down between a

kershaw cyclone

My choice is BM, then Kershaw, and last is the leatherman.

I know you've narrowed it but check with www.savsonswordsandknives.com there you can get a whole lot more for a whole lot less. They are reliable as well. but sherlockbonez has it nailed between those three

get the kershaw, have the mini, and it is a great knife.

Kershaw all the way. Im sry, but im not that big a fan of BM (though i do like some of their knives) and i have never used anything Letherman.

They are all good. Of course, Benchmade is best. Kershaw and Leatherman are real close.
