Hi,

Anyone familiar with those initials? Pics don't do justice, it's a fine job IMO.

Any help deeply appreciated. Thank you!

And for the love of god, give us more pictures of the entire knife!! Show that puppy off!!

sorry... my fault :( It is a semi skinner, sambar stag, nickel silver guard, double nude logo.

Here it is. It is a semi skinner, sambar stag, nickel silver guard, double nude logo. Not knowing the engraver is killing me! ha ha

Sadly, it has a nick in the edge... I was thinking of sending it to Mr. Merrit for repair.

It's possible it could be Michael Collins. However this would have to be earlier work, because it's not of his latest quality (if it is his at all.) Do a Google search and you will find his gallery and website.

However, whoever did it was good enough to do gold inlay and that's advanced.

Good luck.

Also, probably does not need to be said, but make sure you are not storing the knife in a leather sheath, or allowing it to sit in contact with leather. Just mentioning because that green/bluish verdigris starting on one side of the bolsters.

Interesting piece, and with the edge nicks and scratches it would be a good candidate to have restored (ie nicks removed, and be a user, or a collection piece).

Thank you Mr Cooper. I'm trying to get in touch with him but his mailbox seems to be full...

previous owner did not take care of it as he should have... I'll get it restored and treasured... A few years ago a Loveless knife was something I could only dream of having...thank you!
