I was reading an article in the November 2005 Blade magazine, regarding florist's knives that have an "ivory" handle and most say "say it with flowers" on the side of them. They have a simple sheepsfoot blade. Most of these (according to the article) were made by Schrade and Camillus. I would love to find one in decent shape to give to my girlfriend, as she is very into gardening. I have searched ebay many times to no avail...anyone out there know a place I can find one without it costing me and arm and a leg?? I would appreciate any input.

I am looking for a Schrade 44OT if anyone can help. I have used one for the last 12 years and I lost it at a camp this past week. I know there are alot of good and probobly better knives out there, but the Old Timer 44OT worked well for me.

I read a thread from 05 that talked about good pocket knives for whittling and there was several postings from a hi ho Silver and I would like to make contact with him.
