its a Spyderco civilian but with a S/S handle and a non serrated blade. let me know if i can find one or if i am barking up the wrong tree

thanks

Do you mean the aluminum handle with the kraton insert?

yeah my fault its for a buddy of mine he said s/s but the more i look its the alum with the rubber insert

A Civi USER

I would not use a Civi for any cutting, unless you want a damaged tip. It was designed for slashing SD, but it is really more for collecting and for show than anything else.

Good Luck! Not an easy find.
There were only 300 plain edge aluminum/tuffram civilians made.

I figured it would be rough. i know several guys who carry them for duty to
usuallay on the plate carrire on their vest, or hidden behind their mags on the duty belt.

MONGO you know where i can get the Spydie video for it?

Yes there were but only one or two.

You would probably do better finding a PE Civilian with carbon fiber scales. Much later production (although still not the easiest find) and closer to a user than the alum handled version.

thanks for all the help Guys

HEy MONGO were you being serious about the friendly boards or sarcastic?

thanks

JIM

Don't know what the purpose is, but if it's not important to have the factory-issued Spydie (i.e. to fill a hole in a collection) but the $$$ are there, it might be interesting to get a custom. Spyderco does license the hole to custom makers (not sure about the Civillian design???) and the one on Keating's site looked great!

No offense Taken mongo
i carry my G10 civi every day too actuallay gonna order a KYDEX neck sheath for it

a buddy of mine has a Big ol collection and thats why i want to find the PE one

thanks tried to register on spyderco but now the moderator has to approve me
