I had a gentleman call me this evening about info on a knife he found on his families farm this last weekend, it was in an old dried up well..
It is all copper, 15" long and he said shaped like a dagger. It has an eagle engraved on one side and an indian head engraved on the other , both on the pommel area. He also said it had 2 lines of markings but impossible to read, all they could make out was a W on the top line and a B on the bottom. He thinks it has something to do with Hudson Bay area, whatever that means.
Does anyone have any ideas about this knife or where I might be able to find more out about knives like it.
Thank you,
Bill
