Hey guys. Im getting married soon and im looking to get some edc/pocket knives for my friends in my wedding/bachelor party. I am looking for something with wood handles as i think it gives off more of a classic and classy look. Also want it to be able to engrave it either on the handle or the blade so i can put their names on it. Would like to keep the price of the knife around $50 or less. I have done a fair amount of searching on my own but cant find the right knife. The opinel knifes are nice but i dont like the manual locking mechanism. Any other suggestions from you guys?

1. Wood handle edc/pocket knife
2. can engrave handle or blade
3. Price around $50 or less

Any help would be great!

How about the diamondwood Buck 301 stockman.

They're wood and brass, made in the USA , very pocket friendly, you could easily have the main blade or backside scale engraved.

I've looked at buck, but I would like a full wooden handle. Forgot to mention that in my first post.

I would be stoked to get a Buck 110 for a groomsman gift, it will last them forever.

You can find them for under $30 each with nylon sheath, a little more with leather, plenty left over for custom engraving.

$44 with leather sheath, you can find them cheaper at other outlets and they are $27 at a very popular big box store with the nylon sheath.

Just curious why only 1 blade ?
A Vic is an extremely handy and useful thing, it seems like you're looking for what you want them to have and not thinking about how much they may or may not even end up using it.

If by "full wood handle" you mean no bolsters, that's going to really limit your choices. If bolsters are okay, I would recommend a Buck 501 or 503. Classy single blade pocket knives with wood scales and room for engraving. Should be around $50 or so to buy. Buck 500s are also a good choice but are a bit more expensive.

You can find several patterns by Case with smooth Chestnut wood scales for less than $50. In my mind those would be exceptional, classy, knives to be remembered by. And an engraving shop could easily laser etch the scales of blades if you want to do that.

Boker Gent, or Gent II. Ebony scales, Damascus blade. I think they're classy. I envision ebony engraving, with some nice silver contrast paint rubbed into the engraving. Uh, wow. Wish I could do some things over again. Not really, you know what I mean.

I do like the 501. The nickel bolsters look much nicer than the brass ones to me.

If you care to rethink your all wood handle and single blade, I'd certainly recommend this...

Free engraving, wood + nickel silver bolsters, two blades, and meets the $ requirement.

Actually, I think the colored bone scales are also extremely classic too. If you decide to go that route, a ton of choices open up.

Good luck
