I have two Benchmade Mini-Grips. One in 440C and one in 154CM. Really like the axis lock and better grade steel.
I've been thinking about buying a Mini-Rukus..
Seems like the more I look into these type of knives, the more differant names come up on postings. (Microtech, CRK, Spderco,Sebenzas, ect.)
I've been selling off my slip-joints to support the search for the best lock and steel in a smaller EDC.
Can anyone offer any advise on the differant brands?
Would pefer made in the U.S.A.
Thanks, Gary

:) O.k. I've done alittle research.
The Spyderco Delica can be bought with zpd 189.
The Mini Rucus is made with S30V.
With the other 2 knives I own that would cover 4 steels.
I'm thinking about one in D-2 also.
I know Cabela's sells the mini griptillian in D-2, but would prefer a differant brand for variety.
Anyone one else have an opinion?
Don't everyone reply at once...:)
Thanks for your help.

Many Wal Marts have the Spyderco Native in S30V for $39.95. It's a good knife, and great steel for that price point.

The ZDP-189 Delica4 is also worth looking into. The steel is amazing, especially compared to 440C and 154CM. I carry a pair of them (one blue sprint run and one green production).
