Need help finding makers using gold/silver granulation

Getting my wife interested in knives has generally been an exercise in futility. However, I recently saw (online or in a magazine, I'm uncertain) a pair of folders whose handles had been embellished in gold and silver granulation. I mentioned this to her--her favorite custom jeweler makes very elaborate gold jewelry using the same techniques--and now she wants to see pictures. Darned if I not only can no longer find them but I can't even find a maker who does this.

Does anyone have any information about any makers who do this sort of work? Pictures would be a tremendous help. I've included example photos of the granulation work on various pieces of jewelry below.

The premier knifemaker artist in this style would have to be Zaza Revishvili.

I did a Google search for you. Click HERE.

Dude, that jewelry is frikkin' awesome. Could you post a link to the maker?

Zaza's work is amazing, but I believe he specializes more in filigerie, which is pretty much the same thing as granulation in a different style. I'm sure he could do whatever he wants to though.

Buster Warenski learned granulation techniques for the King Tut dagger, but I can't really say I've seen a lot of guys using it. I think William Henry Knives used to offer one of their folders with some coarse granulation work on the bolster. I've done a bit of granulation work myself with silver jewelry, but have not used it on knives yet.

Thanks for the links folks. Zaza's work is amazing but it doesn't have the same "feel" as what I remember seeing. I hope old age isn't setting in on my feeble brain, because I distinctly remember these two fairly traditional looking drop-point folders (linerlocks?) absolutely covered with granulation designs. One was done in silver and the other in gold. Zaza's pieces look a little more "art knife-ish", if such a term may be used.

The jewelry is the design/creation of Carolyn Tyler. She's in Bali and has a small group of goldsmiths executing her designs.

Her website is www.stonesoffire.com . If you send me your email address to blueskyjaunte (at) gmail (dot) com I can send you some pics/scans of the custom work we've had her do for us as well--one of which is a stunning pendant that I haven't seen ever matched by the work she posts on her site.
