Need help finding that perfect knife!

Good evening, I am looking for a fixed blade pocket knife, but one with a blade length of 3" - 3.5". I really want a Japanese style similar to a Kwaiken or the old cold steel konjo. I would also like a polished blade.

My budget is around $200 - $250. I have been all over and found some customs that are running over $400. But that is a bit much for me.

Does anyone have anything that comes to mind?

Thanks!

Check out Ivan Campos, a Brazilian cutliero (do a search on this forum). I have two of his blades, a North American Tanto in D3 and a Scandi in 1070, both of which are among my sharpest blades. He has done a number of Japanese-style blades. His prices are very reasonable, his work is exquisite, and his service is outstanding.

That style in that blade length, and that price range is tough.

Try Kanetsune Knives, you might be able to find a deal on a Miyabi or something: (( removed deal spotting ))
This one is a little long: (( removed deal spotting ))

Well it's a little smaller than you want.
But the Sam Eddleman Wharncliffe or Tanto Dashi with a 2in. blade comes to mind.

Keep looking in "Customs by individuals". Great deals pop up there all the time.

Here's a beauty: (( removed deal spotting ))

You are not allowed to direct sales to a link which is not a paid Bladeforums dealer. eBay is not on the list.

This is a variation of the "no spam" rules that we have. We know you found a great deal on a Ninja Death Tool 3000 - we don't care. If that dealer wants to advertise on BladeForums.com, encourage them to purchase a Dealer membership here instead of giving them free advertising. This infraction can be issued as a warning and is worth 10 points towards your total. It expires in 12 months.

Kanetsunes rock. Here's a small fixed blade on ebay.
