Need Help from CUSTOMER SERVICE / Resolved

Before I even state my problem I just want to say that this is not a complaint thread I am not bitching about KAI CS in any way, they have always helped me out and sent what I needed out the next day.


I have called in to CS a couple times in the past couple of weeks trying to get new screws for the pocket clip on my 0560, when I first received it one of the first things I did was switch the clip to the G10 side for left handed carry. One of the screws ended up having its threads stripped at the very tip when i got it out of the Ti side and it is just enough that it will not get a bite on the liner on the G10 side so I can not tighten it.

Like I said I have called CS a couple times once Jeremy helped me and once it someone else who I honestly can't remember, but they were both helpful and sent out a screw and clips right away but... I keep getting the wrong screws. The screws being sent out are tiny little screws that are nowhere near long enough to work on the G10 side.

So if one of you CS guys could be so kind as to check out the pics below and help me get the right screws I would be gratefull.

As you can see from the pics I do not really need more pocket clips I just some of the longer screws that came with the knife instead of the little nubs of screws that are being sent out as replacements.

Sorry we seem to have gotten the wrong screws out to you! Give us a call at 800-325-2891 and ask for warranty. We'll get the correct ones on their way to you.
 
Is there a specific screw I should ask for? The second time I called CS I told him that the screws I received were to short and did not work and they still sent out the short screws again.

I had the same thing happen with my 0200. It takes long screws and i kept getting short ones for a 0350 I think. Try email and tell them what happened, at least that is what I did. They were very helpful and quite to send out the right ones. Brittany is who emailed me back and she was very help full.
 
I just got of the phone with Jeremy at KAI CS and after comparing what they had in their bin and what I had he figured out they had the wrong screws in their bin so hopefully this will solve the issue for me and anyone else that needs pocket clip screws!
