Hello All,
So I picked this up from a seller who said the knife was new in box. But when I received the knife I saw that it had some old parachute cord (550 cord) as the lanyard. The newer Mark VI I bought (birthday November 2010) came with a black "bootlace" type lanyard. Which got me thinking, was the parachute cord lanyard standard for older knives? When was the switch to the black "bootlace" type lanyard done? Did I get had?
LET ME BE CLEAR!! This is not a knock against the seller and it should not be construed this way. The seller gave me an awsome deal and I would buy from him again today.
I am just curious about the history of the knife and how they were shipped from the factory. I included a pic to show you what the lanyard looks like.
Any info would be good, Thanks
