All the really cool names are taken- claw, talon, fang, etc! Don't know what to call it, but I've found these little hawksbills to be a handy utility blade.

4 1/2"oal, 1 1/2" sharpened edge, O-1 steel. Hope the pic is okay.:)
 
Richard, thinking on a name, but I have to ask (as a rock hound) is that a hunk of rhodochrosite in the back?
 
Gus- that's a good ol' Lake Superior agate. My 8 yr. old and I spend a lot of time in the local gravel pits picking agates, keeps him out of the taverns!;)

Osprey and Falcon were both used by Al Mar knives.Why not,the little Dove of death. ;)

After many hours of considering the same thing for my Hawkbill and only comming up with HAWKBILL......:barf: I gave up with the Talon/Claw theme!!

I agree with Blues it looks like a Wave to me, but it doesn't have any class to it. I'd like to suggest ONDA it's Italian for wave, it has a nice sound to it. Besides you'll drive people crazy trying to figure out what O.N.D.A. stands for. ;)

Thanks for the suggestions and the kind words. Now Gus has me thinking about a bunch of models dedicated to the fine wines of my youth- the Ripple, the MD 20/20, the Night Train!:D
 
ok lets try a few...reminds me of...a hawks wing, tornado,lightning strike, storm clouds. hmm seem to have an elemental theme goin'...there's another... elemental. coiled snake...

Hmmm... it IS very "wavy". How 'bout Turbulence? (wind) Shear? Tremor?
