Need help ID on old folder

I picked up a older Camillus folder this weekend at a flea market. Honey stag handles. Sword Brand on the blade. #8 stamped on one side of the blade. Made in the USA the other. Really nice knife. But I can't figure out how old it is. Very similar in design to the Queen Cutlery Mountain Man complete with a lanyard hole, except this one is a slip joint not a lockback.

I may have found the info I needed. 1978 catalog has a number 8. Indian Stag handle Hunter. Not sure if that is the year mine was made but it's a start.
