I recently received a browning knife as a gift. It appears to be older, has a cutout in the middle of the blade that I can't figure out what it is, the handle has an oval with a buck head or Elk head with antlers. The blade is 3 1/2 inches and the handle is about 4 1/4. On the blade it has Browning spelled out on one side and 440 on the other, both etched close to the handle. the handle is a dark wood.
I can send a picture if anyone wants it to help identify. Also, I am not concerned with the value as it was a gift, just curious about how old and what model it is.
